Interbike Highlight: Knog Lock
This lock has a great shape and design. Unlocking is quick thanks to a electronic key, which pops the lock open with a simple touch. Supposedly they will retail for $150, which is twice the price of the standard issue Kryptonite U-lock mini. I think it might be worth it!
They look super clean, but I don't know if I'd trust the electronic end. A usb chargeable key? Thats crazy talk. I liked their whole line of locks, Knog definitely has a good eye for design.
yeah, the whole electronic key thing is a bit too techy? I can see someone going over to a lock and putting a charge to it by a stun gun or something and it popping open, actually making it easier and quicker for thieves.
It looks like it might be a little easier on your bike than other locks. Soft rubber coating, thumbs up.
But the design looks like I can't just stuff it in my pants like you can with a Kryptolock
too bad the entire base of the lock was broken by the afternoon of the first day of the show!
