No problems at all with those pedals? even in an emergency skid? I'd tried XT's, Speedplay Frogs, and some cheaper Atac's from like 3 years ago, and always when it seemed to matter most, when i'd be flying and had to make an immediate stop, my front foot would disengage and shoot forward and i'd have to catch the pedal with my foot under it on the next revolution and jamaican skid. I've been riding the Speedplay Track Sprint Specials when I ride clipless and they've become the only pedals I trust all the time without brakes.
Since they only work with roady shoes, it sure would be nice to be able to ride with my MTB shoes and not be slipping around and clacking about with those big square clips when i want to get off the bike.
If they've got your full confidence I think i'll be picking some up real soon. Did you just tighten up the tension real high?
