R.E. Load Lockdown Straps

These straps are definitely holding up like a dream. The minimalistic design is devoid of metal on the top of the strap, which makes for a much more comfortable fit than other straps I’ve tried. The strap swivels on the D ring which takes stress off of the fabric part of the strap. Adjusting on the go is simple and they are a breeze to take off and on. A great product!

One nitpicky thing that initially bothered me is the metal D ring that tinked on my crank arm. It was only while I walked with my bike and wasn’t an issue while riding, but I know there are people, like me, who cringe when they hear noises coming from their bike.

Go grab a pair for yourself. Because they are backed by the R.E. Load name you can rest assured that they are made by skilled hands and will hold umm… tight.

Zach, would you run those straps on your mashing bike? or do ou suggest sticking with clips n cages?

  5. Zach Bossington

i wouldnt have a problem running these on a mashing bike.

hey so do you HAVE to cut the odyssey pedals… I just put them on mine and had a bit of a difficult time slipping them through the holes… Looks like you cut yours?

  7. Zach Bossington

yes, the pedals are cut to allow the straps to easily fit into the holes. Not all pedals need to be cut. I think the Shadow Conspiracy ones have wide enough slots that you dont need to cut.

ya i was able to fit them but they are like seriously cramped and are bent in half… That center piece is kinda annoying. What did you cut it with?
