Ninjacats 2011

These guys are sick! lots of shenanigans, and lots of good tricks. I love that the young dudes dont give a fuck, and will pretty much try anything. Always a good watch from Ninjacats, and I cant wait to see the solo edits these guys have been workin on.

Velo Cult set to move to Portland

The San Diego bike shop is preparing for a move to the Pacific Northwest. Portland has no shortage of bike shops, but Velo Cult is sure to bring some new offerings to the mix. We’ll sure to be down there to check it out once they re-open their doors.

Dew – SADIO BOOSTER FRAME TEST #1

Wow, Dew really brings the heat. I watched this vid over and over. I am glad he healed up from his injury, hopefully we will see a lot more from him.

Cog x Chrome Southside

Both Cog Magazine and Chrome have been in the game for quite a while and both are highly involved in the bike scene. They decided to celebrate their bike culture roots by collaborating on some footwear. The Cog Southside has same beefy construction as the regular Chrome Southeside, but with an added touch from Cog on the inside foot and tongue.

Chris has been rocking out in some Southsides for a few months. He noted that he likes the super stiff soles and the leather material. The great thing about leather shoes is that you don’t get the faded toe knuckle marks cause by toe strap rubbing (aka ghost foot).

Burd Trackstand Wizardry

This may be the last trackstand edit from our friend Burd. As you may know he put together some of the first freestyle videos called Bootleg Sessions and was an integral part of the fixed scene during its early days. I still remember when he showed up for the massive Fast Friday event and blew everyone away with his balance skills.

Props!

Welcome to CSK

Here are a few clips for a new project I am working on called CSK. Fortunately, I have a group of friends who encourage the pursuit of fulfillment, so a long time running joke has now turned in to something real.

Chris made me some prototype stickers. Others are on the way. Get at me if you’re interested.

I’ll be introducing the rest of the group over the coming weeks with some short interviews so please tune in.
